CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures

The world's first and finest heli-ski operation. In 1965 a young mountain guide, Hans Gmoser, invented the sport of heliskiing right here in the Columbia Mountains of BC, Canada. Since then, CMH has grown to include 11 heliski lodges located throughout British Columbia. Our accommodation ranges from in-town hotels to remote backcountry lodges accessible only by helicopter. Heli-Ski programs include Powder University @ CMH for all things educational! Join us for our popular CMH signature heli-ski trips, private heli-skiing, steep weeks, small group heli-skiing, Christmas heli-ski trips for families, heli-assisted ski touring and more. The options are endless. In 1978, Hans started taking his guests into the mountains each summer and heli-hiking was born. Over the past 34 years our Summer Adventures have evolved to include Family Adventures, Yoga Retreats, Via Ferrata, Mountaineering, Painting & Photography workshops, as well as short escapes for hikers and walkers of all ages. CMH Summer Adventures are based from the Bobbie Burns and Bugaboo Lodges located just south of Golden, BC.
