BC Chamber AGM & Conference
Posted on 06/25/2018
The BC Chamber of Commerce's AGM (May 24-26, 2018) is a forum for Chamber members to connect, learn, and BC Chamber CEOdebate the policies that will create the blueprint for the BC Chamber's advocacy in the year ahead.

The 2018 AGM and Conference told a story of strong engagement and collaboration amongst the network. 52 resolutions were put forward with various levels of collaboration on 27 of those policies -- from co-submitting resolutions to many resolutions with supporting chambers. The end result? Deeper, richer and more meaningful policies that have potential for a wider impact. That's the power of the BC Chamber network!

A total of 61 Chambers were represented at the AGM & Conference, which highlights the commitment of Chambers and Boards of Trade across the province in moving the dial on issues impacting their communities.

We're pleased to announce that the Kicking Horse Country Chamber of Commerce Executive, Shelly Wadden was in attendance, representing the local business community. Shelly reports the connections made Kootenay Chamber Executives and insights gathered during the AGM and conference will prove invaluable to her role as the Chamber Executive and looks forward to applying new knowledge to increase the Chambers value proposition moving forth.

We would like to recognize that this opportunity would not be made possible without the ongoing support of our members, and for this we thank you!
