Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre
A well-maintained 33+ km groomed classic and skate ski trail network takes novice to expert cross-country skiers through a beautiful mixed forest of peaceful, rolling hills and offers spectacular mountain vistas. Rent ski or snowshoe equipment, take a lesson to hone your skills, and enjoy gliding through the magical winter scenery. After your ski, warm up in the cozy, heated chalet that includes a change room, a kitchenette with hot drinks, free wifi, washrooms, an outdoor wax bench, and electric vehicle charging stations. Join the fun and excitement at the club’s annual Huckleberry Loppet event in February. Trail fees apply. The Nordic Centre is located just past Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.
Golden Golf Course Ski Trails
A popular destination for those venturing close to town, this novice 6 km classic-only ski trail is maintained by Golden Nordic Ski Club volunteers as long as snow conditions permit. Trail fees are by donation.
